INFJ sees by the ethics of people. ENTP moves by possibilities and dislikes being asked about consideration for people. INFJ's "how will that person feel" reaches the place where ENTP does not want ethics questioned. Before INFJ, ENTP's ideas begin to look insensitive.
INFJ's "ethics of people" is ENTP's point of least resistance. A judgement that is obvious to INFJ is engraved deep in ENTP as approval or rejection. Augustinavičiūtė called this "one-sided vulnerability". INFJ does not know it, and only feels they are saying the right thing.
Augustinavičiūtė wrote that there is not enough observational data on the supervision relation. What is known: the supervisor reaches the supervisee's point of least resistance directly; if the signal is positive it is very pleasant, and if negative, even a light one is very unpleasant.
A quiet question makes ideas insensitive.
Answering with logic does not reach
When ENTP counters with the logic of reasoning, INFJ's role collapses and INFJ answers with an avalanche of words. ENTP senses it, but cannot answer. A one-way match.
ENTP has one advantage too. Their second, "logic that carries an idea through", sits above INFJ's third. When ENTP produces it, INFJ's role collapses, and INFJ pushes back with a flood of words. ENTP's first, "eye that sees possibilities", sits where INFJ cannot understand, so INFJ finds ENTP a little mysterious and a little frightening.
